A company built from solving AEC problems
OAR is a construction and digital solutions technology company providing 3D Laser Scanning, BIM Coordination, Virtual Construction, and Digital Delivery & Implementation. We help AEC teams replace assumptions with verified reality. Better decisions earlier. Less rework. Fewer surprises. Less wasted time and money.

The old way wasn't working. So, we built a new one.
OAR started on the floor of a recycling plant.
Ryan was an engineer supporting Waste Management’s design and engineering teams, and he kept hitting the same walls: outdated drawings, manual measurements, and assumptions that contradicted what was actually in the field. The cost always showed up later as rework, overruns, delays, and coordination failures that were preventable.
He had a better idea: capture the facility in 3D, exactly as it stood, and design from reality instead of guesswork. When he pitched it, a WM leader made him a deal: prove it could work, but build a company to do it. Ryan founded OAR in 2021 and delivered, one scan-to-Revit model at a time.
When Jon joined as partner in 2022, OAR did one thing, and did it well. Jon saw what it could become. Together we transitioned WM from single scans into a 3D model-driven, digital delivery operation. Simultaneously, we took 3D capture, design, and BIM coordination to market across industries: gas and energy, food manufacturing, steel fabrication and erection, shipyard infrastructure, vertical construction, healthcare, and more. Along the way, the team grew from three people to eight.
Today, OAR partners with construction teams, engineers, industrial owners, and fabricators to replace costly, time-consuming, assumptions with verified conditions, speed, and certainty.
Not just a scanning company.
One partner, full lifecycle
OAR combines 3D Laser Scanning with BIM Coordination & Virtual Construction and Digital Delivery & Implementation under one roof. You don’t need to manage multiple vendors or wonder whether your data will actually get used. We make sure it does.
In-house field technology
OAR’s field technology team is fully in-house. We don’t contract out scanning, reality capture, or photogrammetry. That means better data quality, faster mobilization, and a team that is constantly advancing how we capture and deliver.
Built for complex environments
OAR’s roots are in the most demanding environments in construction: recycling facilities, manufacturing plants, food production, and heavy industrial retrofits. We work where precision, coordination, and speed all matter at once.
Software-agnostic, client-first
We don’t push a single platform. OAR evaluates your needs and recommends the tools and workflows that fit your project: Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, ACC, Cintoo, or something else entirely. Our loyalty is to your outcome.
Data unity: one trusted environment.
The gap between what gets captured and what actually drives decisions is where projects lose time, money, and confidence. OAR’s job is to close that gap. We take data from every source, every discipline, and every phase of your project and turn it into something your team can act on: in the field, in the model, and at the table where decisions get made.
The most valuable thing we bring to a project is rarely the deliverable itself. It is the ability to understand what a client actually needs, sometimes before they can articulate it, and translate that into technical work that solves the right problem.
That means listening across disciplines, connecting dots between what an owner wants, what an engineer needs, and what a contractor can execute. Then building the model, the workflow, or the coordination environment that makes all three possible at once.
OAR is not just a scanning company or a BIM firm. We are a technical resource that stays in the room, leads the hard conversations, and delivers work that moves projects forward. That is what we mean when we say we stay engaged beyond the handoff.
The team behind the work.
Ryan Briles
Ryan founded OAR with a clear mission: close the gap between field reality and construction models. He leads business strategy, client relationships, and the development of OAR’s technology capabilities.
Jonathan Donahue
Jonathan leads sales and client development at OAR. He brings deep knowledge of the construction technology landscape and works closely with GCs, MEP contractors, and facility owners to identify where OAR can make the biggest impact.
Martín Miotti
Martín leads OAR’s BIM team and brings over five years of AEC experience to every project. He integrates laser scanning and point cloud data across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, ensuring models are accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready.
James Cast
James leads OAR’s field technology operations. He brings military discipline and technical precision to every site engagement, ensuring OAR’s scanning and reality capture work delivers reliable data from the first mobilization.
Melina Molina
Melina leads OAR’s marketing strategy, content, and digital presence. She manages the full marketing stack across HubSpot, Google Ads, and social channels, translating complex construction technology into clear messaging.
Carolina Centeno
Carolina brings precision and consistency to every model she touches. She manages scan-to-BIM workflows and multi-discipline coordination, making sure deliverables meet scope and quality requirements on every engagement.
Franco Zalazar
Franco specializes in converting field scan data into accurate, construction-ready Revit models. He has a sharp eye for detail and supports OAR’s delivery teams across structural, architectural, and MEP systems.
David MacPherson
David deploys OAR’s latest AI tools, centralizes the company’s common data environment, and ensures the team stays at the cutting edge of construction technology on the back end.
